Henry (H) is the SI unit of inductance and magnetic permeance \u2013 indispensable in electrical engineering.<\/p>\n

It is named after the American physicist Joseph Henry, one of the most outstanding scientists of the 19th century. His groundbreaking discoveries \u2013 from self-induction and the electromagnetic relay to the powerful electromagnet, which could already move loads of over 1,000 kilograms at the time \u2013 continue to shape electrical engineering to this day. <\/p>\n

Henry was a pioneer who laid crucial foundations for modern switching, control, and power engineering \u2013 a unit that connects past and future.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
